3.1 Google User Data Usage

Some of our applications integrate with Google Workspace services (e.g., Google Docs, Drive, Gmail) to enable document enhancements, formatting features, or automation. When you authorize our Google Workspace add-ons, we may access limited Google user data such as your name, email address, and documents that the add-on is installed in.

  • We do not store the contents of any Google Docs, Gmail messages, or files.
  • All data access occurs in real time and is used only for the duration of your session.
  • We use OAuth 2.0 authentication provided by Google to securely authorize access.
  • We use HTTPS encryption for all communications with Google APIs.
  • Any internal logging for debugging (e.g., error messages or process status) does not include personal or document content data.
  • Only authorized personnel can access debugging logs, and these logs are periodically purged.

3.3 Our Google API Scope Request Policy

  • We follow Google’s “Least Privilege” principle, requesting only the minimal scopes necessary for each add-on to function.
  • For example:
    • documents.currentonly is used to only modify the current document.
    • drive.file is used to create and format a document copy.
    • userinfo.email and userinfo.profile are used for verifying user identity and authorizing access.
  • You are prompted to approve these scopes during the OAuth consent screen, and the scopes are clearly disclosed before authorization.

3.4 Data Retention

  • We do not store, cache, or retain Google Docs content or user identity information.
  • Any metadata temporarily used to complete a formatting action (such as a document ID) is discarded after processing.
  • You may request deletion of any support-related communication by contacting us.
